We all know what Sunday best is right? For those of you who do not know it Sunday best is a reality TV show hosted on BET and the host is one of the most popular gospel singers Kirk Franklin. The main purpose of this show is to find the next gospel super star. The show Sunday best normally features four judges, who are gospel singers, song writers or composers. The main job of these judges is to critique the contestant’s performance. Among these judge is the most famous BeBe? Winans, Yolanda Adams, Erica Campbell and Tina Campbell (Mary, Mary).
This year the search for the new “gospel super star” took place in Nigeria West Africa, and this is season three of the world premiere Sunday best.

The judges were different this time around, but the host was still Kirk Franklin. The judges were Donnie McClurkin?, Kim Burrell and Nigerian artist Muyiwa Olarewaju. Thousands of people came to audition, but what I don’t really understand is just one of these contestants will be chosen from Nigeria to join the rest in the U.S. The reason I am saying this is because why should one go this length and pay all this amount of money for one single contestant; instead of hosting the whole show in Nigeria.

There were some funny moment but Muyiwa was not a good judge, he was extremely harsh. I guess the organizers told him to be the “Simon” of the show. In my opinion this not the best have seen of Sunday best because Donnie and Kim were not in agreement with Muyiwa on most musical matters. The first part of the audition was fun for several reasons: the jokers, the talented and the non talented. I honestly don’t think that anyone from this group is going be crowned the winner of Sunday best. Watch and enjoy!
