I wanted to throw out to any musicians that the SCSU Husky Sports band is looking for new memebers for the 2010-2011 year. For those who aren't familiar with the club we play all sorts of marching and pep band music at many of the football, basketball, and some hockey games. It's a real blast as we cheer and pump up the crowd with our amazing sound. Even the coaches have told us that the music encourages their team and they seem to play very well. On a side note we irritate the officials and visiting fans but who cares about them. We have also been fortunate enough to perform concerts both indoors and outdoors. Last season we had a Sounds of the Stadium concert with special guests from the MN Brass Drum and Bugle Corps. It was an awesome concert as it blew everyone away with the powerful sound. This last season we also released our newest CD which featured many songs like Get Ready for This, Funkytown, Yesterday, and much more. Anyone interested in a copy or more information on the band should contact director Glen Tuomalaa. We look forward to another great season and hope to see plenty of new faces
